Dr. Iyad Al Jada, MD, MMed, FRCS (Colorectal Surgery) Head of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Hebron University Consultant General, Colorectal, Bariatric and Endoscopic Surgeon Dr. Iyad Al Jada is a distinguished academic surgeon, medical educator, and healthcare leader with extensive international experience in clinical practice, surgical training, and medical education. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Hebron University, Palestine. He previously held the position of Head of the Department of Surgery at the International Medical School, Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia, where he played a key role in advancing surgical education and curriculum development. Dr. Al Jada has also served as a Consultant Surgeon in several leading tertiary referral and teaching hospitals, including King Fahad Specialist Hospital and King Faisal Specialist Hospital. Dr. Al Jada completed advanced fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery in the United Kingdom and holds a Master of General Surgery degree. His clinical expertise encompasses colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, advanced endoscopy, emergency surgery, and trauma care. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Al Jada is deeply committed to medical education, surgical training, and research. He has supervised and mentored medical students, interns, and surgical residents across multiple institutions and has contributed to the development of innovative educational programs aimed at improving surgical competence and patient outcomes.
